Terms & Conditions of Service

Ghana's Premier Airport Transfer Service. Please read these Terms carefully before making a booking. If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, you must not use our services.

1. Introduction

Welcome to MyAirportPickup.com ("we", "us", "our", or the "Company"). By accessing our website, mobile application, or booking platform, or by using any of our airport transfer services, you ("the Customer", "Passenger", or "you") agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions of Service ("Terms").

MyAirportPickup.com is a registered transport and logistics company operating in the Republic of Ghana. Our services are available in Accra, Kumasi, Takoradi, Sunyani, and Tamale.

2. Definitions

In these Terms, the following definitions apply:

  • "Service" means any airport transfer, pickup, drop-off, or transport service provided by MyAirportPickup.com.
  • "Booking" means a confirmed reservation for a Service made through our platform, website, or by telephone.
  • "Driver" means any authorised vehicle operator engaged by MyAirportPickup.com to provide the Service.
  • "Vehicle" means any car, SUV, minivan, or other transport vehicle used to provide the Service.
  • "Passenger" means any individual transported under a confirmed Booking.
  • "Platform" means our website (myairportpickup.com), mobile application, or any other booking interface.

3. Bookings & Reservations

3.1 Making a Booking

All bookings must be made through our Platform or by contacting our customer support team. A booking is only confirmed once you receive a written confirmation and a unique Booking Reference Number via email or WhatsApp.

3.2 Booking Information

You are responsible for providing accurate and complete booking information, including your flight number, travel date, pickup location, destination, number of passengers, and contact details. We accept no liability for failed or delayed pickups arising from incorrect information provided by the Customer.

3.3 Flight Tracking

Where a flight number is provided, we will use our best efforts to monitor your flight status in real time. In the event of a flight delay, we will adjust your driver's arrival time accordingly. This service is provided as a courtesy and does not constitute a guarantee.

3.4 Advance Booking

We recommend making bookings at least 24 hours in advance. For peak periods, holidays, and early morning or late-night transfers, we recommend a minimum of 48 hours' notice. Same-day bookings are subject to driver availability and cannot be guaranteed.

4. Pricing & Payment

4.1 Fares

All fares are quoted in Ghana Cedis (GH₵) unless otherwise stated. Quoted fares are fixed and inclusive of driver charges, fuel, and applicable taxes. Fares do not include airport parking fees, tolls, or waiting time charges beyond the free waiting period.

4.2 Payment Methods

We accept the following payment methods:

  • Mobile Money (MTN MoMo, Telecel Cash, AirtelTigo Money)
  • Debit and Credit Cards (Visa, Mastercard) via Paystack
  • Bank Transfer (for corporate accounts)

4.3 Payment Timing

Payment is due at the time of booking unless a corporate credit account has been established. Bookings are not confirmed until payment is received.

4.4 Additional Charges

Additional charges may apply for: waiting time beyond the free waiting period (30 minutes for arrivals, 10 minutes for departures); journeys to destinations not covered under the original booking; extra luggage exceeding the agreed amount; and cleaning fees where a vehicle requires cleaning due to the conduct of a Passenger.

5. Cancellations & Refunds

5.1 Customer Cancellations

More than 24 hours before pickup: Full refund.
12–24 hours before pickup: 50% refund.
Less than 12 hours before pickup: No refund.
No-show: No refund.

5.2 Company Cancellations

In the unlikely event that we are unable to fulfil a confirmed booking due to circumstances within our control, we will notify you as soon as possible and provide a full refund within 5 business days.

5.3 Refund Processing

Approved refunds will be processed to the original payment method within 5–10 business days. Mobile Money refunds are typically processed within 2 business days.

6. Driver & Vehicle Standards

All Drivers employed or contracted by MyAirportPickup.com are:

  • Holders of a valid Ghanaian driving licence appropriate for the class of vehicle operated.
  • Subject to background checks prior to engagement.
  • Required to maintain professional conduct and appearance at all times.
  • Prohibited from using mobile phones while driving.

All Vehicles are maintained in a clean, roadworthy, and insured condition. We reserve the right to substitute a vehicle of equivalent or superior class where the booked vehicle is unavailable due to mechanical failure or other unforeseen circumstances.

7. Passenger Conduct

Passengers are expected to behave in a respectful and lawful manner throughout the journey. We reserve the right to refuse or terminate a journey without refund if a Passenger:

  • Is intoxicated or under the influence of illegal substances.
  • Is abusive, threatening, or violent towards the Driver or any other person.
  • Causes damage to the Vehicle.
  • Violates any applicable law of Ghana.

Smoking is strictly prohibited in all our vehicles. Passengers travelling with infants or young children are responsible for providing appropriate child seats unless a child seat has been specifically requested and confirmed in the booking.

8. Luggage & Personal Belongings

We accept no liability for loss, theft, or damage to any luggage or personal belongings carried in our vehicles. Passengers are advised to ensure their own travel insurance covers personal property.

If you leave any items in a vehicle, please contact us immediately. We will make reasonable efforts to locate and return lost items but cannot guarantee their recovery.

9. Liability & Indemnity

9.1 Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by Ghanaian law, MyAirportPickup.com's total liability to you in connection with any booking or service shall not exceed the fare paid for that specific booking.

9.2 Force Majeure

We shall not be liable for any failure or delay in providing the Service arising from circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to: severe traffic congestion, road closures, accidents, extreme weather conditions, acts of God, government actions, civil unrest, or airline delays.

9.3 Flight Delays & Missed Connections

While we track flights where a flight number is provided, we accept no liability for missed connections, onward journeys, accommodation costs, or any other consequential loss arising from flight delays, cancellations, or diversions.

10. Privacy & Data Protection

We collect and process your personal data (name, phone number, email address, payment details, and journey information) solely for the purpose of fulfilling your booking and improving our service. We do not sell your personal data to third parties.

By making a booking, you consent to receiving booking confirmations, driver details, and service updates via SMS, WhatsApp, and email. You may opt out of marketing communications at any time.

Our data handling practices are governed by applicable Ghanaian data protection legislation.

11. Complaints & Dispute Resolution

If you have a complaint about our service, please contact us within 48 hours of your journey at the contact details provided on our Platform. We aim to acknowledge all complaints within 24 hours and resolve them within 5 business days.

If a complaint cannot be resolved through our internal process, both parties agree to attempt resolution through mediation before pursuing legal action.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Ghana. Any legal proceedings shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of Ghana.

12. Amendments to These Terms

We reserve the right to update or amend these Terms at any time. Updated Terms will be published on our Platform with a revised effective date. Your continued use of our services following any such update constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
